Steps of Success 5K

This year, we were honored to help provide scholarships and invest in the personal, spiritual, and educational development of college students and inner-city youth through the Steps of Success 5K.

The Employment and Commerce Law Group was proud to sponsor this year’s Steps of Success 5K which occurred on Saturday, September 8th.

We believe that the youth in our community deserve a pathway to success and a ticket to a better life. That is why this races’ proceeds supported Steps for Success’ mentoring program and scholarships to keep kids in school and foster a love of learning and academics to inspire them to pursue higher education.

We loved seeing all of the friends and families in our community participating in the Steps of Success 5K for a day of fun and fitness. There were awards distributed for the fastest men and women in each category, with age ranges stretching from nine years old to seventy and older. Participants received a timed chip, a finisher’s medal, a performance tee-shirt, and a swag bag.

We appreciate everyone’s participation in this year’s race. The money raised at this event will help youth in the community grow to love learning and hopefully be able to continue on to higher education.
